For this assignment, my group and I were tasked with creating an App for the Rainforest Alliance. The Non-Profit is based on the protection of forests, improving the livelihoods of farmers, and promoting human rights. With this in mind, we wanted to take a more photographic approach, showing the user directly the areas that they could be impacting with their donation. The design is also meant to be very clean/simple and very easy to navigate for any viewer. We achieved this by being more minimal in our design and only keeping what we believed to be necessary content. Doing this allows people of any age/demographic to learn more about the impact of the Rainforest Alliance, raise awareness, and donate to the cause.
